2009 Honda Integra Type R

This has been sitting in my portfolio for a few months now and i am just now finally getting around to finishing it. Introducing the new 2009 Honda Integra Type R. I wish they really would release another generation of the Integra. Man did I love driving mines.

If the were to release another new model, Im guessing it will carry the new "VTEC TURBO" system that the new Acura RDX's have. though the SH-AWD system would be awesome, Its ok(and cost effective) to keep it traditional with the old FF layout.

I designed the new Integra's form with front wheel drive in mind. Rear wheel drive cars emphasize the rear end to show that power is in the rear wheels. What I was trying to accomplish was to emphasize the front end of the Integra, showing that the power comes from the front wheels.

Hopefully the Honda Integra Type R's legacy will make a come back in the near future.

I dont remember how long I took drawing the original sketch but it did take me 4 hours to do this render in Corel.
